This book takes a different approach than any other traditional ASE exam study guide. The authors of this book have spent many years writing and developing exams for automotive training curriculum including State of California licensing exams. This book breaks down exam development giving the automotive student or technician a different perspective, understanding, and approach when taking an ASE exam as well as any other automotive related exams.

 

This book explains how to get into the mind in a sense of the exam writer on how questions and answers are developed allowing the exam taker a better understating of questions that are presented to them. Knowing this will help the exam taker that may have exam anxiety a better understanding of an exam question, and how to pick the correct answer with much more ease.

This book has an emphasis in areas of automotive electrical (A6) and engine performance (A8)(L1) as a study guide, but information provided in this book such as the anatomy of an exam and the breakdown of actual exam questions can be used for any ASE or automotive school exams.
